Meet Autarquía: the new book in collaboration between Del Maguey and COAA

The launch of the Autarquía book highlights collaborative efforts for sustainability in the mezcal industry.

We are proud to share that COAA (Constructions Owners Association of America) has just released Autarquía: Mezcal y Tierra in collaboration with Mezcal Del Maguey. Autarquía is the second book that presents the efforts behind the research of architectural methods using the byproducts of mezcal production: bagasse and vinasse.

This collaboration marks an important milestone that highlights the House of Tequila’s commitment to sustainability and innovation in the mezcal industry. Del Maguey’s contribution to this project demonstrates the commitment to sustainable development and the use of byproducts of mezcal production.

Del Maguey will continue to support initiatives like Autarquía that seek to promote sustainable practices in the mezcal industry, and we look forward to future collaborations that encourage environmental preservation and community development.

The book is now available on their official website, and they will soon launch the English version. You can get it at https://www.coaa.org/
