Annual Recap: 2024 at House of Tequila

This 2024 has been a year of growth, creativity, and significant achievements for House of Tequila, where every step taken has been part of our commitment to excellence, the agave culture, and the evolution of tequila and mezcal drinks. From innovative launches to globally impactful events, our brand continues to leave a mark on the heart of the industry.

1. The World Celebrates Tequila: Global Partnerships and Recognition

The last quarter of the year saw an important milestone for Altos Tequila, being recognized in the prestigious World’s 50 Best Bars. Altos established itself as an essential brand in the most exclusive bars in the world, standing out for its quality and its ability to inspire the most creative bartenders. This recognition not only reaffirms its position in the premium market, but also its place as a pillar of modern mixology. As well as participations in North America’s 50 Best Bars and Asia’s 50 Best Bars.

2. Launches of Special Editions

Exclusivity was one of the major trends this year. At House of Tequila, we launched Limited Editions that sparked interest and admiration from our most discerning consumers. Among these, notable launches included the Olmeca Tequila Limited Edition and the collaboration with Lewis Hamilton on a new line of innovative products that integrate sustainability and the agave tradition. These moves not only strengthened our position as market leaders but also as benchmarks of modernity in the tequila industry.

3. Innovation in the World of Cocktails: Celebrate the Margarita

To celebrate one of Mexico’s most iconic drinks, Altos Tequila launched a one-of-a-kind campaign: a full month of celebration in honor of the Margarita. Throughout February, special events were held in various bars around the world, with the Margarita as the star. This initiative not only highlighted the versatility of tequila but also positioned Altos as the ideal choice for lovers of sophisticated and refreshing cocktails. Once again, this approach made a significant impact in the world of tequila mixology.

4. Creativity with Humor: Emergency HotLime

One of the most ingenious and fun campaigns of the year was Emergency HotLime, a home-delivery service for limes launched by Altos Tequila. In a bold move, this campaign solved the “emergency problem” of running out of limes to make Margaritas, combining humor with the festive spirit of tequila. This type of innovation proves that creativity has no limits, and House of Tequila continues to surprise with its disruptive approach.

5. Mezcal and Agave: A Year of Recognition for Tradition

This year was also crucial for mezcal mixology, with House of Tequila being one of the leading promoters of the richness and diversity of this spirit. From supporting agave-producing communities to promoting sustainable agave harvesting practices, our commitment to tradition has been a cornerstone guiding our actions. House of Tequila has consolidated its position as a reference in the market, taking Mexico’s traditions to the world while always respecting their origins.

6. Strategic Collaborations and New Perspectives

2024 was also a year of key alliances that expanded our reach. The collaboration with Casa Lumbre Spirits and the inclusion of Lewis Hamilton in the agave world highlight the global interest in tequila and mezcal. These partnerships not only generated new business opportunities but also contributed to positioning House of Tequila as an innovative brand leading the future of agave.

On another note, one of the most innovative launches of the year was the introduction of NFT Avion. With this move, Avion Tequila redefined the way people enjoy tequila and the prestige of agave by launching an exclusive NFT for a limited-edition bottle of exceptional tequila. This innovative concept highlights House of Tequila’s commitment to modernity and new technologies, taking the brand to new horizons.

7. Tequila But Not As You Know It: A Disruptive Campaign

In a groundbreaking move, Altos Tequila launched its campaign “Tequila But Not As You Know It”, challenging traditional perceptions of tequila and positioning Altos as the most versatile choice for bartenders. This bold and playful concept resonated worldwide, sparking creativity within the bartending community and attracting a new generation of consumers.

A Year of Success and New Horizons

2024 has been a year full of challenges, but also great rewards. We have successfully consolidated our global presence, connected with new generations of consumers, and continued promoting the legacy of tequila and mezcal with the respect they deserve. Most importantly, we’ve shown the world that House of Tequila is much more than a brand: we are a community of passion, innovation, and tradition that continues to evolve.
