Finalists of the Tahona Society Competition 2025

Altos Tequila’s commitment to the bartending community goes far beyond the glass: it supports projects that create positive change through hospitality. A clear example of this is the Tahona Society, a platform that since 2009 has built a global network of bartenders who not only master the art of innovating drinks but also strive to make a meaningful impact through their craft.
In 2025, the competition returns stronger than ever, highlighting not just talent, but also the creativity and social awareness of those behind the bar. The grand final will take place in Mexico this September and will bring together 10 international finalists who will compete for a $50,000 USD fund to bring their sustainable projects to life.
Tahona Society: More Than Just a Bartender Competition
The Tahona Society Competition began as a space to promote tequila culture, educate about agave, and refine tequila mixology. Over time, it evolved into a global community focused on supporting the professional growth of bartenders and encouraging initiatives that positively impact their communities.
This sustainability competition is about ideas with purpose. Each participant presents an innovative proposal with the potential to create real change in their environment. From sustainability to emotional well-being, the focus is on projects that go beyond the bar.
A Global Community for Purpose-Driven Bartenders
More than a contest, the Tahona Society is an educational and cultural platform designed for bartending professionals who want to make a difference. Through workshops, mentorships, and immersive experiences, this global community offers the tools to drive sustainability, innovation, and leadership within the industry.
This way, the Tahona Society becomes a space for growth and connection among bartenders from all over the world who share a common mission: transforming their communities through hospitality with purpose.
