Our distillery has implemented a solar panel system to generate clean energy

As part of our progressing S&R strategy and contribution to our circular making pillar, our Arandas distillery has a goal of reducing CO2 emissions in 30% by 2030 and operating with 100% green energy by 2025.

In order to achieve this, our distillery has implemented a solar panel system to generate clean energy, which will help us cover 100% of the energy demand for Kahlua and 30% for our tequilas. The impact of this is the equivalent of reducing 507 tonnes of CO2, planting 37,459 trees or saving fuel for the equivalent of 2,301,744 km in car rides every year.
